Thoughts, recommendations, ideas, and cool stuff I want to share

How can I possibly be happy today if I’m not where I want to be? Several people have asked me this question recently. Have you ever asked yourself this question?
In my experience it’s all about focus and intention. One of my biggest takeaways from Joe Dispenza’s teachings is that we are always creating, and that most of us, as soon as we get up we go check our phones, our social media, we read the news and get on with the day on the same dynamic we did the day before. Then, when we start interacting with one and other, we tell each other the same stories we have been telling for the last week, months, and often for the last years, so we end up creating the same experience we created yesterday, and life goes on in this manner. The problem is that as we tell these same stories we recreate the same emotions that we experienced at the moment the event of our story took place. Our thoughts create our emotions. As Abraham repeats once and again, thought is quick, and we can’t take thought back. However, as Christy Whitman taught me, we can choose a better feeling thought when we realize the thoughts we are having don’t serve us.
STOP recreating yourself in thoughts that don’t make you feel good!
I used to get home from work and tell my husband all the disagreeable things that happened to me throughout my day, and the next day I would go to work and tell my colleagues all the things that went wrong since I left my working spot. Thank God I met Christy Whitman!!! As you can imagine there’s a better way to go about life if what your seeking for is happiness.
So it comes down to focus. Every day we have experiences that we enjoy and others which we enjoy less, and even some that we do not enjoy at all. What would you feel like if you only shared those experiences that made you happy throughout the day? This takes focus, and as you focus on what you enjoyed, you will find yourself paying more attention to the fun parts of the day. You will also find that you start looking for activities and ways of being, having and doing things that you find more joyful.
Being joyful today also takes intention. You must want to, and be willing to pay attention to your emotions, and when you feel you are not feeling so good, ask yourself: What thoughts have I been processing that are bringing me down? And how could I transform that thought into another one that supports how I really want to feel? At the end of the day, rather than noticing everything that went “wrong” (I don’t believe in wrong anymore, but that’s a story for another day) think about all the things that went “right”
Count your wins, share your wins, write your wins on a WIN JOURNAL, and observe what happens as days go by.
Then write back to me and tell me what has shifted.
Or give me a ring and we can get on a call to support you in understanding you are great today.

Stretching is an important part of any workout routine as it helps to improve flexibility, reduce the risk of injury, and increase mobility. Here are five of the best stretches to incorporate into your workout:
Hamstring stretch: This stretch targets the muscles in the back of your thigh. To perform this stretch, stand with your feet hip-width apart and extend one leg forward, keeping your knee straight. Reach forward and touch your toes, or grasp your ankle if you can. Hold for 20-30 seconds, and then switch legs.
Quad stretch: This stretch targets the muscles in the front of your thigh. To perform this stretch, stand with your feet hip-width apart and bend one knee, bringing your heel towards your butt. Hold onto your ankle or shin and hold for 20-30 seconds, and then switch legs.
Shoulder stretch: This stretch targets the muscles in your shoulders and upper back. To perform this stretch, reach one arm across your chest and hold it with your other arm. Hold for 20-30 seconds, and then switch sides.
Butterfly stretch: This stretch targets the muscles in your hips, inner thighs, and lower back. To perform this stretch, sit on the floor with the soles of your feet together and your knees bent out to the sides. Use your elbows to gently push your knees down towards the floor. Hold for 20-30 seconds.
Cat-cow stretch: This stretch targets your spine, neck, and back muscles. To perform this stretch, start on your hands and knees with your wrists under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Arch your back up towards the ceiling, like a Halloween cat, and then release, rounding your back towards the floor, like a cow. Repeat for 10-15 repetitions.
Remember to breathe deeply and slowly as you hold each stretch, and never push yourself to the point of pain. Start with shorter holds and gradually increase as you become more flexible.

Discovering What Your Next Steps Look Like to Achieve Your Life Goals and How to Make Them Happen
Having life goals is a crucial part of living a fulfilling and meaningful life. It gives us direction and helps us stay motivated towards our aspirations. However, once you have set your life goals, the next step can be overwhelming: how do you go about achieving them? In this blog, we’ll explore ways to discover your next steps towards achieving your life goals and how to make them happen.
Step 1: Break Down Your Goals
The first step in discovering your next steps towards your life goals is to break them down into smaller, manageable parts. This can be done by creating a roadmap, or a plan that outlines the steps you need to take to achieve your goal. This roadmap will serve as a guide to keep you on track and focused.
Step 2: Assess Your Current Situation
The next step is to assess your current situation. Take a moment to reflect on your current circumstances and determine what resources you have available to you. This could include your skills, knowledge, experience, and network. Identifying these resources will help you determine what steps you can take immediately and what obstacles you may need to overcome.
Step 3: Set Realistic and Measurable Milestones
Once you have a clear understanding of your current situation, it's time to set realistic and measurable milestones. These milestones should align with your life goal and serve as stepping stones towards your ultimate destination. Ensure that your milestones are realistic, achievable, and can be tracked.
Step 4: Develop a Plan of Action
With your roadmap and milestones in place, the next step is to develop a plan of action. This plan should outline the specific steps you need to take to achieve each milestone and bring you closer to your life goal. Make sure that your plan is actionable, and prioritize the most important steps first.
Step 5: Take Action
The final step in the process is to take action. Start with the most important steps, and consistently work towards achieving each milestone. Stay focused and remain motivated, and don't be afraid to adjust your plan if needed. Remember, progress is more important than perfection.
In conclusion, achieving your life goals requires a clear understanding of what you want to achieve and the steps you need to take to get there. By breaking down your goals, assessing your current situation, setting realistic milestones, and developing a plan of action, you can make your life goals a reality. Take action, stay focused, and stay motivated, and you'll be well on your way to achieving your aspirations.
